Our Club

Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club is an American Kennel Club (AKC) sanctioned Obedience Club formed in 1971 by a group of dog enthusiasts who were interested in promoting training and competition in dog obedience sports to the public. The club was incorporated under the laws of Nevada as a not for profit corporation and all proceeds from our training classes and fund raisers go to support the club expenses including rent, utilities and insurance for our club house where we offer training classes to the public year-round. We are delighted that dogs of all breeds, including mixed breeds, may now compete in our AKC sanctioned Obedience, Rally and Agility trials and matches.
